Justice Kudirat Akano of the Osun State High Court in Oshogbo, has ordered the detaining of suspects involved in the Ife clash.
The accused include a monarch, a clergy man and 4 others who are allegedly key in the clash between Yoruba's and Hausa in Ife last month.

The Prosecuting counsel had applied that the accused by detained after they maintained a "not guilty"plea on the of 14 count charge placed on them which include offences such as murder, arson and others.
The counsel to the defense's objection to the application was denied and the court ordered that the six accused persons be detained in prison pending the date the hearing would commence on June 14
