A heavy duty truck crushed a commercial motorcyclist, commonly called Okoda man, to death at about 9.15am on the Mushin-Isolo Road, Lagos on Thursday.
The passenger on the motorcycle, who was fortunate to have survived the accident, was dragged from the wheels of the truck with a broken leg.
According to an eye witnesses, the accident occurred when the motorcyclist, who was on top speed, tried to overtake the truck at a dangerous bend.
However, members of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) promptly responded with rescue vehicles which lifted the truck, to enable the removal of the motorcyclist’s lifeless body stuck between the wheels.
