Does Chelsea have a valid excuse for loosing the game on Easter Sunday to the Red Devils?   Did the holiday blues blow an infectious bug into the Blue's camp? or was it just ILLLUCK?

Whatever it was Chelsea is not accepting all the blame as the Antonio Conte's team is partly blaming the BUG.

The blues conceded a 2-0 loss at old Trafford letting rival Tottenham Hotspurs close the gap between them to just 4 points.

Chelsea’s poor performance on Easter Sunday at old Trafford has been blamed partly to a mysterious ailment that befell most of the players.

Chelsea’s loss opened wide the gap allowing Tottenham Hotspurs inch closer by 4points at the top of the table.

Marcos Alonso on the left wing-back was forced to withdraw his place in the starting 11 as he complained of illness in the warm-up, still feeling the symptoms from the night before.

This led to Cesar Azpilicueta being shifted from centre-back to the left-hand side, andKurt Zouma brought in to play in the back three.

Nigerian Victor Moses like his fellow team mate Alonso, who had just recovered from a hamstring injury was affected by the bug.

Although Moses started the March against Manchester United, but the 26 year old could not continue hence his removal 9minutes into the second half of the march.

Chelsea’s star striker who was also affected by the ailment, Diego Costa played the whole 90minutes.
