Serena Williams has said Ilie Nastase's comment on her child is racist. The 35year world tennis champion is not finding comments made by Ilie Nastase funny.
Williams reacted to Nastase comment asking whether William’s baby would be “Chocolate cream”

In a statement Williams said "It disappoints me to know we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments,"

"I have said it once and I'll say it again, this world has come so far but yet we have so much further to go,"

"Yes, we have broken down so many barriers - however there are a plethora more to go.

"This or anything else will not stop me from pouring love, light and positivity into everything that I do. I will continue to take a lead and stand up for what's right."

This tennis star’s motherly instincts have been awoken and she seems to be protecting her baby from any form of abuse, and racism gets the first hit.

70-year-old Nastase who is currently Romania's Fed Cup captain, who was also at one time world number one, was heard guessing whether Serena’s baby would be.

Guess who jumped on board? The International Tennis Federation (ITF), Yep! The ITF has started an investigation into Nastase racist comment.

35 year old Williams who just about a week ago showed her baby bump on social media announcing her 20 weeks pregnancy, got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in December.

Her announcement literally lit social media up, as colleagues, fans and almost everyone showed their love to Williams congratulating her.

Williams in a statement expressed gratitude to the ITF for showing consideration and investigating the case she said "I humbly thank the ITF for any consideration given to all the facts in this case. They will have my full support,"

Williams who has won the highly competitive Grand Slam 23 times, included in her statement lines from the poem Still I Rise by American civil rights activist Maya Angelou;

"I am not afraid like you. You see, I am no coward. Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? You may shoot me with your words… you may try to kill me with your hatefulness, but still like the air, I rise."

Williams might just not be the only one feeling the venom of Nastase stinging comments, the Romania Fed Captain seems to be having a day of soured mouth.

Nastase foul-mouthed the umpire during Romania's Fed Cup win over Great Britain.Nastase and later lashed Johanna Konta and Great Britain's captain Anne Keothavong - calling them both "a bitch" multiple times.

This encounter left Konta in tears.

Nastase may just have outdone himself this time as he was seen within earshot of the media, just before the tie between Romania and Great Britain putting his hand tightly around Anne Keothavong neck asking her for her room number.

Did Nastase get punished? The ITF was definitely not condoning Nastase's behaviour as he got banned from the tie and was later handed a provisional suspension by the ITF.

Did Serena Williams Say "Served him right?" off course not rather Serena william's comment concerning the incident read he said"sexist comments against my peers" .
