Senate Adeleke death linked to painkiller overdose

The last has not been heard about the late senator Adeleke whose remains was laid to rest yesterday in Oshogo.

 The first Executive Governor of Osun state and uncle to popular musician Davido's death had caused an uproar where the youths had had a filled day protesting his death and harassing a few politicians who had come to pay their last respects to the late senator.

Suspicions and allegations were in the air, as speculations by his fans pointed that the senator may have been poisoned to death, while some suggested it was a plan to get him out of the way ahead of the next elections of the Osun state polls slated for 2018.

Even the deceased's younger brother  Adedeji Adeleke  had alleged a foul play in the death of  his elder sibling, hence the request for an autopsy to be conducted on the corpse before allowing the body to be committed to the earth.

Some Youths in the senator's home town Ede, went on rampage protesting the death of the senator, alleging that the senators death was masterminded to prevent him from running as governor in the 2018 polls, forcing the governor to take immediate action to order an autopsy at Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital. 

The senator on Saturday had attended a series of political events, hitherto leaving for the events he had complained about the serious pain in his legs, and a quack had  administered the painkillers intravenously, relieving him of the pain which unfortunately led to his death.

the Autopsy preliminary results from pathologists showed that the intravenous medication, fluid laced with a huge quantity of painkillers conspired to block his heart leading to a heart attack that killed him.
