Governor Fayose suspends Permanent Secretary, three others over misuse and vandalism of government facilities
Ayodele Fayose, the Governor of Ekiti State, has suspended Mr Oludare Abegunde, who is the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, alongside three other persons over alleged misuse and vandalism of some government facilities under their care.
Governor Fayose, who as directed the Head of Service, Dr Gbenga Faseluka, to constitute a panel to probe the activities of the official, criticized the misuse of public utilities by government officials and the public, saying that such had become a drain of public resources.
“This is a poor and bad attitude we must stop. Public facilities are provided through the use of pubic funds and must therefore be used judiciously.
