Barely two months after the reopening of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology,LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, students of the institution on Monday staged a protest that led to the disruption of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) computer based test that was scheduled to hold in the ICT center of the institution.
Gracagist gathered that the lecturers of the institution had earlier demanded for payment of salaries before going to the classroom.
It could be recalled that The Vice-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Suleiman Gbadegesin, during the re-opening of the school said that the institution had received N500 million from Osun and Oyo State governments to pay the salary arrears owed workers.
