Man face trial for sexually defiling two nine year old boys

A 35 year old man, Balarabe Yusuff, a.k.a Dogo Direba, has been remanded in Katsina prison till June 6, 2017 for allegedly having anal sex with two nine-year-old boys.
Hajiya Fadile Dikko of Katsina Senior Magistrates’ court gave the directive on Tuesday after the charge was read to Balarabe.

The police said Balarabe was arrested after he deceived and threatened a nine-year-old boy (Abdullahi Nasiru) of Dutsom Amare quarters, Katsina , into having anal sex with him.

The Police report read in court alleged that Balarabe lured the boy into an uncompleted building, ‘where he forcefully had anal sex with him, contrary to section 398 of the penal code’.

After his arrest, Balarabe also confessed to have had anal sex with another nine-year-old boy (Abubakar Ibrahim), in the same building.

The two boys were said to have been taken to the General hospital, Katsina, for treatment.

Hajiya Dikko told Balarabe that his case would be tried by the high court after police investigation and on the strength of legal advice from the state Ministry of Justice.

Hajiya Dikko directed that Balarabe be remanded in prison custody till June 6, 2017, when the case will come up for mention.
