New born Baby with Placenta still attached abandoned hours after birth

A new born baby still attached to its placenta was found Thursday morning abandoned in Kuchigoro Village in Abuja. 

There was no sign of the baby's mother in sight, but the baby was found lying on a concrete floor with splashes of blood on the floor and the placenta  lying beside it.  
The baby appeared to be about a few hours old..
