| Southern governors' wives forum during their visit with Gov. Ambode |
Southern Governors Wives Forum have converged in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for a three-day meeting.
The 14 women delegation comprising of wives of the southern governors arrived Abeokuta on Wednesday.
Mrs Nneoma Rochas Okorocha, the chairperson of the forum, early Thursday morning led the delegation to the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s office at Oke Mosan, to pay him a courtesy visit.
According to the wife of Imo state governor, they are in the state for their 5th quarterly meeting.
But our correspondent gathered that they would also engage in women empowerment programme.
