35-year-old woman's decomposed body found after she went missing for a week

A 35-year-old Phuket woman, who had been missing for a week, was found dead on Sunday, July 9.
Her body which was dumped at a wooden spot close to a road to Khum Muang Chaofa hill in Tambon Wichit in Phuket’s Muang district,Thailand was identified by her friends who recognized the tattoo on her decomposed body,

The body which was found with deep cuts to the stomach and throat was wrapped in a mattress and a sack along with the woman’s doll. The body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Photos and details about her were posted on a relative’s Facebook page and shared among Thai social media users when Picha Nampadung went missing.

According to the relative’s post, Picha who reportedly was dating a foreigner, who police have not been able to contact – was last seen at her rented room in Moo 6, Rawai, where she lived alone,

 Her relatives raised alarm when they couldn’t reach her for a week and she didn’t show up at work.

The Chalong Police Station was informed of the missing person case by her relatives
