Muslim fan blasts Helen Paul for wearing Hijab in comedy skit

Nigerian comedienne Helen Paul has sparked mixed reactions online after she shared a Ramadan inspired video skit on social media.

The comedienne who also acts Nollywood movies from time to time, made the video praying to Olamide’s song titled Wo.

In the video skit, Helen Paul was seen wearing a pink hijab as she sang a parody of Wo. Her own version contained prayers for Governor Akinwunmi Ambode Lagos state.

A fan who was not impressed about the video wrote.

"Nonsense, why are you like this, must you do your nonsense joke wth religion? Other people’s religion to be precise.. You better be very careful"

Helen Paul as expected clapped back posting;

"your two brain cels need to be thawed out. Evidently, they are overheated. I’m not responsible for the several nights of sleeplessness caused by the mosquitoes that won’t let you sleep while you keep slapping your face all night. If you don’t like the vid, go watch some more of the depressing ones you’re used to . Doofus".
