Korn Jona Davie shares his wife's battle of her mental Illness & addiction

The singer shared the message on Instagram Wednesday night what happened to his wife Deven, he said "Deven is an amazing wife, friend and a mother to me..." and I try has much has possible to hide what was going on in order to protect her.

Deven died on Friday, and the news came on the heels of Jonathan's request for a domestic violence restraining order on her. Jonathan alleged Deven was deep into drugs and her drug use was causing emotional harm to their 2 sons.

Deven has been sick for the past decade, she had a serious mental illness and the side effect was an addiction that caused her death.

He added that is so passionate about people struggling with mental illness and hopes her story will help inspire change. He also mention their two lovely children, in statement giving a promise that,"I"ll make sure I do everything in my power to raise our wonderful sons and teach them the good values you always wanted to teach them so badly,and break the cycle of abuse we both experiencse as kids."

According to the legal docs, Deven had been in a sober home but went AWOL a week before she died.
