Nikki Bella has been trying her best to move on after the very public breakup, and she apparently believes things would be much easier if her ex John Cena found someone to date.

Kelly Clarkson couldn’t be more impressed by Carrie Underwood’s courage and honesty. The American Idol alum, during a conversation with reporters from Entertainment Tonight, said, “I’m so happy for her!”

When discussing her upcoming series on NBC, The Kelly Clarkson Show, the subject of Underwood’s miscarriages and pregnancies arose.

As it was previously reported, Carrie, who is currently gearing up to have her second baby with the hockey player, Mike Fisher, said to reporters from CBS Sunday Morning that she experienced three miscarriages within two years.

Clarkson admitted she sent emails, praising Carrie for her bravery in talking about such a controversial topic, as well as an issue that is a problem for many women all over the world.

According to the singer, it makes other women feel like they’re not alone, like there isn’t something wrong with them for having a miscarriage. Underwood said to CBS that it felt like a cruel punishment, the fact she kept getting pregnant but was not able to bring them to term.

In August, Carrie experienced blowback for allegedly insinuating that she was past her prime fertility years at the age of thirty-five. The star added, “so we may have missed our chance to have a big family.”

Many women were offended by her comments, suggesting Underwood was contributing to a stigma surrounding older women who choose to have kids. Regardless, Carrie went on to tell the world of her struggles.

Kelly told Entertainment Tonight that she has a lot of friends who’ve had similar experiences. There’s no question that many other women have had problems conceiving as well, in addition to the host of emotional struggles that arise as a result.
