Senator Isiaka Adeleke Davido's uncle is dead

The first executive Governor of Osun State, and uncle to Nigerian music star Davido, Senator Isiaka Adeleke has been pronounced dead.

He passed on this morning in Osogbo, Osun State at Biket Hospital.

The followers of Senator Isiaka Adeleke and large number of people from Ede were in tears as the corpse of the politician, which was dressed and seated in a Sienna car, was brought back to his home.

Many, including sympathizers, waiting at the entrance of the senator’s mansion rushed inside to catch a sight of his corpse.

Those that were able to enter his living room said the corpse was bathed in preparation for the burial.

There is suggestion that he might be laid to rest soon as some imams are sighted at the premises.

However, some youths protesting the sudden death of the senator and believed that he was killed spiritually attacked a journalists from NTA identified as Mr. Tope Alabi and his cameraman as the NTA crew moved to the residence of the deceased.

One of the youth used a motorcycle to rescue the reporter while his cameraman ran inside one of the nearby houses to save his life as the youths wielding cudgel and sticks ran after him.

Also some people alleged that Adeleke was poisoned which resulted in his sudden demise.

They were of the opinion that he was killed to make way for another APC aspirant in the next governorship election to hold next year.

Before his demise, Adeleke was a member of the People’s Democratic Party before changing camp to the All Progressives Congress

He was on two occasions elected as a senator and represented the people of Osun State from 2007 to 2011 and again in 2015.
