Ben Murray-Bruce gives this reason for FG to increase minimum wage

Benedict Murray-Bruce, a Nigerian business magnate and serving Senator who is also the founder of Silverbird Group as called on the federal government of Nigeria to increase the minimum wage.
The Senator said in a message:

“Happy May Day to Nigerian workers. As an employer of over 1000 workers all earning above minimum wage, I call on FG to increase minimum wage.

“When this Minimum Wage was signed into law by GEJ, a bag of rice cost ₦5k. Today rice cost thrice that. Its only fair to also increase wages.”
