The police in Taraba have said officers attached to the Jalingo Division have arrested members of a cult group known as ‘Mavis record base.’
They were believed to have murdered one Kabiru Yahaya of Anguwan Fulani in Jalingo, the state capital.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP David Missal, who paraded the suspects at the state’s command headquarters in Jalingo on Tuesday, said the suspects “criminally conspired and beat up the said deceased, stabbing him with knife where he died on the spot.”
The suspects are Abdulmajid Hassan, 21, Abdulsalam Aliyu, 21, Samuel James, Ibrahim Yakubu, 23, and Abas 19, all of Angwan Fulani in Jalingo.
